This Privacy Policy explains how the Saver browser extension (the “Extension”), operated under the savemedia brand (“savemedia”, “we”, “us” or “our”), handles information when you use it. By installing or using the Extension you agree to this Policy.
When you request a download, the link of the post you selected is sent to our servers solely to locate and deliver the requested media. We also process standard technical information that any online service receives when handling a request; it is used only to operate, secure and maintain the Service.
We do not store IP addresses. To keep the Service fast and protect it from abuse we count requests against an irreversible fingerprint that cannot be turned back into an address, and those counters are erased automatically.
The Extension does not require an account or registration and does not ask for your name, email address or any other personal details.
In-extension feedback. The Extension may occasionally ask you to rate it. If you interact with that card, we receive the rating you chose and, only if you decide to write one, your comment, together with the extension version, interface language and which social network the feedback relates to. This is voluntary, is used solely to improve the Extension, is not linked to your identity or IP address, and is never shared or published.
Your settings and download history are stored locally in your browser only. They are never uploaded to our servers or shared with anyone, and you can clear them at any time from the Extension.
Files you download pass through our servers only for the purpose of being delivered to you. We do not keep copies of your downloads and do not inspect their content.
Technical information is retained only for as long as necessary to operate and protect the Service, and is not used for any other purpose.
savemedia is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or officially connected with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook or any other platform. You are solely responsible for the content you download and for having the legal right to save and use it. Please respect creators’ rights and the terms of the platforms you use.
If this Policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new “Last updated” date.
